1. Why do you add acid to water, not water to acid?
Answer: Mixing can splash and heat. Adding acid into water is the safer order.
2. What does wafting mean?
Answer: Fanning air toward your nose instead of putting your face in the container.
3. A beaker cracks and liquid drips on the table. First two steps?
Answer: Alert the teacher. Do not clean unknown liquid without instructions.
